Hairball Audio Lola — Class A microphone preamplifier in 500-series format, inspired by the sound of vintage consoles but built in a modern spirit. It delivers clean, warm, and detailed sound — ideal for recording vocals as well as acoustic instruments, drums, and guitars.
Lola is based on carefully selected components, such as Cinemag input and output transformers, which impart a characteristic, subtle saturation to the signal. The amplifier offers a very wide tonal palette — from impeccably clean signal to rich, analogue saturation with a light colour.
Thanks to switchable gain levels, an adjustable attenuator (PAD), phase reversal function, and 48V phantom power, the Lola excels in any situation — from a home studio to professional recording sessions. It is a preamplifier with soul that will take your recordings to the next level.
The rental includes the Midas Legend L6 rack, which enables powering the preamp. The Lola preamp is a combination of modern sound with classic saturation, making it a unique item among many other classic preamp models.
