With its upgraded 19-inch QLED touchscreen at 1920 x 1080 resolution and 2000 cd/m² brightness, the Atomos Sumo 19" SE HDR Monitor, Recorder, and Switcher retains the same 4K recording, monitoring, and switching capabilities as its predecessor, with a sharper and brighter display. Four 12G-SDI inputs and one HDMI 2.0 input can receive video signals up to 4K60 and support four-channel live switching. Five-channel recording captures input signals and live switching, creating a single output video file for efficient review. The HDMI 2.0 and quad-SDI connectors also support Genlock and LTC timecode.
The Sumo 19" SE can record in ProRes RAW and 10-bit 422 ProRes/DNxHR formats. RAW, Log, PQ, and HLG outputs from various cameras or game consoles can be processed by the device and tone-mapped for real-time display of 10+ stops of HDR dynamic range. This makes the Sumo 19" SE ideal for on-set monitoring by directors or clients. Two XLR inputs with +48V phantom power enable balanced audio recording from external devices. Included desktop feet, mounting hardware, and various power options allow easy integration of the Sumo 19" SE into a studio setup.
