APUTURE lampa diodowa LED Amaran AL-MX

The Aputure Amaran AL-MX is a compact LED light built for situations where large, heavy lighting equipment cannot be used. Perfect for use with a gimbal, while travelling, and in unusual locations. Despite fitting easily in a pocket, the AL-MX surprises with its light output.

Variable colour temperature

The AL-MX uses two types of SMD LEDs generating light at different colour temperatures:

2800 K — warm white, similar in colour to tungsten light
6500 K — cool white, similar to overcast daylight and flash light
By adjusting the output of each LED group independently, the light allows control of not just power but also colour temperature. This makes it easy to blend with other continuous and flash sources. Notably, the AL-MX covers a wider range than competitors who boast 3200K–5500K — the AL-MX spans a much wider 2800–6500K range.

Pristine light quality

Excellent colour rendering is confirmed by high CRI and TLCI values, which measure how closely artificial light resembles natural sunlight on a scale of 0 to 100. Values above 95 guarantee colour fidelity and accurate tonal depth.

Pocket size, big power, and Boost mode

Despite being roughly credit-card sized, the AL-MX delivers impressive output. 128 high-efficiency SMD LEDs produce up to 880 lux (at 0.5 m). If that is not enough, the Boost function increases maximum power by 30% (in 60-second intervals).

Efficient battery and stable output

Premium lithium-polymer cells and advanced algorithms ensure long, stable operation regardless of charge level. The 1800 mAh capacity enables up to four hours of continuous use, and the USB-C port allows fast recharging.

Convenient controls

The control panel is located on the easily accessible top of the unit. Intuitive buttons and switches allow comfortable operation even with gloves on. Four blue LED indicators clearly show the current battery charge level.

Compact and durable

The aerospace aluminium AL-MX body looks great and provides excellent protection and efficient cooling of the internal electronics. Its low weight and compact build are particularly appreciated during transport and travel. The small footprint and standard tripod mount make it easy to attach to a camera, rig, or gimbal.
