Video as a website background
Internet bandwidth increases year on year, and web design trends follow suit. Full-screen video backgrounds on websites are becoming more and more common. Our equipment recently took part in producing such a background video for a company specialising in manufacturing styrofoam letters. You can see the result at reklamastyrodur.pl.
A few details about this production:
- to ensure smooth camera movement, the Syrp Magic Carpet slider was used
- cardboard backgrounds in various colours — blue, grey, and green — were used as backdrops for the letters
- the letters were lit with three lights: 2 x Came-tv with Fresnel lens + Jinbei LED EF 100 with softbox and grid
- we shot with the Sigma 18-35 lens mounted on a Sony A6500
- everything was filmed in 4K
