Red Komodo now in our rental
The truly cinematic Red Komodo camera is now available at our Kraków rental. Extraordinary image quality in a compact body. What makes the Red Komodo so exceptional? Above all, shooting in 16-bit RAW delivers incredible colours and shadows that are very hard to achieve with popular video cameras. Ordinary cameras and photo bodies typically shoot in 8-bit or 10-bit. Here we have millions more colours recorded in RAW format, giving us extraordinary freedom in post-production.
The second very important distinguishing feature of the Red Komodo is its Super 35mm sensor with global shutter. What does global shutter mean? Every pixel on the sensor is captured at the same moment, rather than line by line as in popular cameras. This gives us a completely "jello-free" image that is impossible to achieve with budget video cameras.
The Red Komodo also features a range of interesting functions — for example, wireless live view from the camera (focus control, recording control) on a standard iPhone via the Red Control app. Thanks to the speedbooster included in the set, popular Canon EF-mount lenses can be attached to the Red Komodo, giving a full-frame field of view.
